Near the northern most extreme of Haliburton County in Central Ontario, nestled in against the border of Algonquin Provincial Park, is the little slice of natural heaven that is the Oxtongue Lake area. Oxtongue Lake connects Lake of Bays to Algonquin Park via the picturesque Oxtongue River.

Oxtongue is approximately 20 minutes from Huntsville, Muskoka (the nearest town). Huntsville is a progressive town with a population of approximately 18,000. All amenities are located here, including a hospital and all your shopping needs. Oxtongue is approximately 2 ½ hours from Toronto, Ontario.
